Welcome
This is the first post. It's cold outside and my legs feel like chopsticks, and when I write that I stop and wonder why they are called chopsticks when they can't chop anything; in fact, I barely know how to hold them at all.
Not certain about this but I suspect they're called chop sticks because the food has to be chopped in order for the sticks to be effective feeding tools. It's just as likely that we've Americanized the word and poorly translated it in the process.
